Landscape works

Li Taihuan, a veteran Chinese artist who was a leading figure in the Chinese vanguard art scene in the 1980s, is making a comeback with his latest art show at National Museum of China.

The exhibition features 17 huge oil landscapes and seven abstract sculptures Li has created over the past decades. Trained at School of Art, Beijing Normal University from 1978-82 in Western art, Li became an active figure at Chinese art scene for his innovative oil, ink works and installations. Li went to Europe in 1989 and settled as a professional artist.
