Chinese artist Walasse Ting (1928-2010) was born in Wuxi and moved to Hong Kong in 1946. Many of his paintings depict women, parrots and plants in bright colors. Longmen Art Projects is presenting a series, titled Red Mouth, of acrylic and oil pastel on paper works by Ting from 1973 to 1977. Ting had the series, all depicting Western women, published in New York in 1977.
