Classical songbirds unite

Gathering sopranos Yao Hong, Sun Xiuwei and Shen Na, the Three Great Soprano of China tour will kick off in Beijing and tour 15 cities, including Wuhan, Qingdao and Chongqing. Zhang Zhen will conduct the symphony orchestra and choir of the China National Opera House to present classical songs from operas including The Lady of the Camellias, Turandot and Madame Butterfly. They will also sing popular Chinese folk and pop tunes, such as Little Running River and The Moon Represents My Heart. According to Zhang, the three sopranos represent the top level of China's female operatic singers.
