The Shanxi Museum is premiering more than 180 excavated artifacts that date back more than 3,000 years to re-create a previously unknown kingdom.
The Ba Kingdom of the Western Zhou Dynasty (c.11th century-771BC), which has no record in historical archives, came to light with the discovery of Dahekou Cemetery in Shanxi province.
Unveiled on Aug 28, weapons, porcelains, bronze wares and other relics from the 2010 excavation will be on show to piece together the Ba Kingdom's birth and history.
The exhibition will run until Nov 11.
