Mermaid en pointe

The National Ballet of China and John Neumeier team up to present The Little Mermaid, based on Hans Christian Andersen's original tale.

It's the first time the celebrated dancer and choreographer has worked with the ballet to direct a show and design the stage. Two years in the making, the show is the most costly production to date for the troupe.

Russian-American musician Lera Auerbach composed the music for the show. The recreation of the classical fairy tale will combine international production values with an Oriental touch.
