The 30th China Guardian Quarterly Auction is about to debut. The lots will include Chinese paintings, porcelains, classical furniture, works of art and oils. The quantity of lots will reach to 5000 pieces. The preview will be held on June 13 to 15, and the auction date is June 16 to 18. The location of preview and auction is at Convention Centre, Beijing International Hotel.
In Chinese painting section, there will be 7 sessions, 2000 pieces of works. Among the lots, Contemporary auctions include more than 10 collector's special subjects. In American backflow collector's subject, because of Chiang Kai-shek's inscription, Soong May-ling's Landscape becomes a very rare work. In another Chinese painting special session, Zhang Daqian's Landscape is a gift which gave to Zhang's friend Huang Zhongxiang. Yu Feiyan's Landscape was a collection of former party secretary of Tianjin Cultural Relics Company. Li Keran's Landscape has a very special inscription, the author is Zhang E, former deputy director of National Art Museum of China.
In contemporary painting section, there are 8 Tian Liming's works from a overseas collector. The works will be rendered as a special subject form. In paintings from Republic of China section, 28 works from Lake Painting Association's member Wang Muqiao will be assembled to auction. In classical paintings and calligraphy session, Wang Hui's Landscape is a old collection of Mr. Ou Chu. In addition, there are some He Shaoji's manuscripts in this session, provided by He's descendants. They are very rare, because the manuscripts are very important clue of study of He's calligraphy.
In prcelain, furniture and works of art section, there will be 4 sessions and almost 2500 lots on auction. Except tea set subjct, buddha statues and furniture parts are two noteworthy sessions in the section. Moreover, in porcelain session, A blue and White Ewer from Daoguang Period and A Sancai Dish from Kangxi Period attract lots of attention. In porcelain and works of art session, A blue and White Stembowl from Zhengde period and A Doucai Bowl from Yongzheng period are expected to mark the high price. In classical furniture session, China Guardian prepares 50 lots of Chinese and foreign, and almost no ultimate price.
