Large Medium SmallVideo-sharing website Qiyi.com is catering to the growing audience for Thailand TV dramas.
The Thai TV series A Cloud of Romance, which premiered on the website on July 9 is one of its most watched shows. Five more Thai shows will be broadcast on the website by early next year.
Thai shows have become the new South Korean TV dramas - a much-favored genre among Chinese TV fans over the past decade. Online forums discussing the actors and plots are active, while others have volunteered to translate subtitles for free downloading.
