Kidman plays Becca, a woman happily married to Howie Corbett, played by Aaron Eckhart, until the sudden loss of their child. The trailer shows how they are then torn apart by grief and how it also eats into their previously happy marriage. These first scenes from the trailer show Kidman regularly in tears and suffering in grief.
