Pete Wentz was left "clutching" his pillow after the earthquake in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The Fall Out Boy rocker - who is expecting his first child with wife Ashlee Simpson - admits he was terrified when the quake, which measured 5.8 on the Richter scale, hit the city.
He said: "Today I woke up to an earthquake, literally. It had me clutching my pillow like it was the mid-west. This s**t is crazy!" The natural disaster was the biggest earthquake to hit the city in more than a decade, luckily there were no reported deaths or serious injuries.
Meanwhile, Pete has been talking to Ashlee's father Joe and his own dad Pete to make sure he is fully prepared for the arrival of his baby.
He recently said: "I'm reading all the books. The best one I've read so far is 'The Expectant Father'. "I'm talking to my dad a lot. I'm talking to Ashlee's dad a lot. We hang out with other people who have kids. You see the world in a different way. It's exciting."
