Talk about a harmonious marriage. Husband-and-wife superstars Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony on Tuesday unveiled plans to tour together in concert for the first time starting this fall.
Concert promoter Live Nation said Lopez and Anthony, who were married back in 2004, will launch the tour on September 29 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and travel throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
The pair plan to sing their songs together and separately in both English and Spanish, Live Nation said in a statement.
Previously, the powerhouse couple worked together in films and on each other's albums, but their upcoming concert series is the first time they will tour together.
Anthony wrote and co-produced the popular music video for "Que Hiciste," the first single off Lopez's latest record. The couple also star in the upcoming film about salsa legend Hector Lavoe, "El Cantante," set to be released in August.
New-York born Lopez, who has sold 17 million records worldwide, recently released her sixth album, her first in Spanish. "Como Ama Una Mujer" topped the Latin Billboard chart and stayed No. 1 for seven consecutive weeks.
Anthony, also from New York, has sold more than 10 million records and is the top selling salsa artist of all time.
