Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt has shunned reports that he might star as the fictional heroic character He-Man in a movie adaptation.
Recently British newspaper Sun claimed that the Troy star is being considered by the Superman Returns moviemakers to reintroduce the Eighties cult character in a 2007 avatar.
A source said that producers are eager to cast Brad for the role, which was last portrayed in a 1987 live-action film, Masters of the Universe, by actor Dolph Lundgren.
"Producers are very keen on Brad for the role. He'll have to bulk up though, he's very fit but not to He-Man proportions," The Sun quoted a movie source, as saying.
However Pitt's publicist Cindy Guagenti has told The Celebrity Truth that reports claiming Pitt’s association with the project are "completely not true".
Australian site IGN.com has reported that the office of the CEO at Legendary Pictures "adamantly denied the entire report when contacted by IGN for comment, advising us that they have nothing to do with He-Man."
