LOS ANGELES - George Clooney might be hot, but Mel Gibson is freezing, according to a list of Hollywood's 'coldest' celebrities published by a movie website.
While Clooney was named "Sexiest Man Alive" for 2006 by People magazine earlier this week, Gibson had to content himself with topping Filmthreat.com's 'Frigid 50' list of movie stars who are out of fashion.
It followed Gibson's arrest for drink-driving earlier this year and his subsequent anti-Semitic tirade to police officers.
Second on the cold list was Jennifer Aniston, the website said, citing a string of disappointing box-office performances as she attempts to make the jump from the television sit-com "Friends" to the big screen.
Surprisingly, the comedian known as "Borat", who has taken the US box-office by storm, was third. "The surprise-faux-documentary filmmaking style won??t work a second time," the website estimated.
Rounding out the top five were Lindsay Lohan, whose party-going lifestyle has attracted criticism from studio bosses this year, and Wesley Snipes, who was facing an investigation into alleged tax fraud.
