Ashlee Simpson identifies herself with Chicago character

While making her West End debut in the London run of the musical "Chicago" on Monday, singer Ashlee Simpson said she actually relates to her role as fame-hungry Roxie Hart.

In a recent interview, Jessica Simpson's pop star sister revealed that she shares so much in common with murderous Hart in the show, that the ambitious villainess seems to be just like her.

"The play is absolutely all about celebrity and wanting to be famous and having your name in the papers and your picture in the papers,” Contactmusic quoted the 21-year-old singer-actress, as telling AP Radio.

“And, in that sense, it’s been kind of cool because I’ve really got to connect to that, because I’ve seen that world and been in that world,” she added.(ANI)
