Eminem to release greatest hits album

Eminem will release a greatest hits album later this year.

The rapper has grouped his biggest songs onto the record, which is to be titled Curtain Call. It is set for release on December 5.

Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers, will include at least two new songs on the record, according to his label. Mathers explained of the album: "I have some songs that a lot of people like. I have some songs that only I like. This album is obviously for the 'lot' of people."

The title of the collection has fuelled rumours that the rapper is looking to retire from the industry in the foreseeable future. He is spending more time producing for other stars, including Redman.
