Longoria to shoot movie next month

'Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria has been cast in a new comedy called 'How I Met My Boyfriend's Dead Fiancee'.

Variety says the film also stars Paul Rudd and Lake Bell and tells the story of a psychic (Bell) who falls in love with a sceptic (Rudd); Longoria will play the ghost of his dead fiancée who tries to keep them apart.

The film will begin shooting on 24 August in Hollywood and Variety reports that Longoria will work on 'Desperate Housewives' during the week and work on the film at the weekend.

Longoria will next be seen on Irish cinema screens in the crime drama 'Harsh Times'; it opens on 18 August.
