The China National Academy of Painting's exhibition center is displaying more than 200 quality mountain-and-water works by the academy's 16 artists, including Long Rui, Xu Qinsong and Lu Yushun. Chiang Ming-hsien from Taiwan brings his 36-meter-long landscape New Fu Chun Shan Ju Tu (Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains), a tribute to the masterpiece of the same name by Yuan Dynasty painter Huang Gongwang (1269-1354). Chiang, now 72, is ranked among the most established and representative ink artists of his generation in Taiwan.
