The 4th Chinese Painting Festival kicked off in Weifang, East China's Shandong province on April 18, 2014. In the over-45,000-square-meter exhibition area, the show features ten sections such as an invitation exhibition of overseas famous Chinese paintings, among other shows.
The festival features classic paintings by 60 council members from the Chinese Painting Institute, including one unique piece that stretches 220 meters in length and stands 1.45 meters tall named "The Great Yellow River," which was created by over 30 artists throughout the course of one year.
Along with the painting festival, the 7th China Culture, Art Display and Trade Fair as well as the 1st Exhibition on Chinese Landscape Oil
Paintings were also held at the Lu Tai Conference and Exhibition Center in Weifang, which will last for five days.
