Li Xiangkui, a 65-year-old villager in Balizhuang village, Qingzhou town, Qing county, Hebei province, has created a set of paper-cut characters from the Four Great Classical Novels, a project that took him nine years to complete. When put together, the paper-cut characters, including all 459 characters from the Four Great Classical Novels, can stretch up to 115.5 meters. Before he retired, Li worked at a film company in Qing county. He often made film slideshows when he was much younger.
