More than 200 paintings depicting traditional Chinese opera scenes are on exhibition. The paintings are the work of some 70 artists ranging from 20th century Chinese ink art master Guan Liang to modern master Xie Chunyan and younger generation artists. The show gathers art work of diverse styles and forms, depicting classic Peking opera, Cantonese opera and Yueju opera stories and images, while reflecting their unique aesthetic characters.
