Selected Shu embroidery works are on display at the Daci Temple in Chengdu city, the capital of Southwest China's Sichuan province, March 3, 2016. The exhibition includes one work that took five years to complete. Shu embroidery (Shu is the shortened form of Sichuan) is one of the four famous embroidery styles in China. It has a high reputation as being "a treasure of Sichuan" since the Han Dynasty (206BC-220AD). Shu embroidery is renowned for its superb workmanship, smooth and bright in quality.
