Chinese puppet show lights up children’s drama festival

The 2nd China Children's Drama Festival was held from Nov 21 to 23 in Berlin, Germany, treating youngsters and adults to a display of traditional Chinese puppetry.

Co-organized by the Berlin China Cultural Center and Guangdong Puppet Troupe, the event featured a string of Chinese classic puppetry dramas, such as Monkey King Subdues the White-Bone Demon, Lady General Mu Takes Command and The Merry Dwarfs. Traditional Chinese puppet performances, such as Long Silk Dance, were also staged.
