School bus proved safe after safety test
Can a Chinese school bus withstand running into a brick wall? The next story will give you the answer.
During a safety test Friday, in Zhengzhou, Central China's Henan province, a school bus driver drove a brand new school bus at high speeds directly into a pile of bricks that was made out to be a brick wall. The wall (bricks stacked on top of each other) completely collapsed.
The front end of the bus was damaged. But everything else seemed fine including the driver who walked out unharmed. The driver needed no assistance in opening the door and stepping off the bus.
After reviewing the damage, the results were positive. The windows and the doors seemed to be well engineered for safety as nothing penetrated the interior.
