Yearender: highlights in cultural exchange between China and the world in 2014

Sino-Russian Cultural Forum

The second Sino-Russian Cultural Forum, co-organized by the culture ministries of China and Russia, was held in Beijing from Nov 27 to 30. With the participation of nearly one thousand academics and intellectuals, the forum focused on five main themes, which were “Cultural Life and Entrepreneurship of Youth”, “Cultural Industry and Trade”, “Cultural Exchange on National Boundaries”, “Cultural Finance” and “Film Culture”.

With more attention to the younger generations, this year’s forum promoted the communication and cooperation between Chinese and Russian young people and consolidated the friendly relations between the two countries.
