It is widely believed that the level of customer service in Beijing is not as good as it is in other foreign cities. And it is not uncommon to hear foreigners complain about the poor quality of customer service at some of the bars, restaurants and hotels here in the nation's capital. So What are some of the reasons behind this? And more importantly, are foreigners' expections regarding customer service too demanding or are they reasonable?
