Quentin Tarantino has announced that he has dropped his latest project, a new film called The Hateful Eight, because the script leaked.
The Oscar-winning director said he learned of the leak when his office started getting calls from agents pitching their clients for roles.
He said he is now "very, very depressed" adding that he'd finished a first draft and only gave it to six people. One of those six let their agent see it and then it was leaked all over Hollywood.
The 50-year-old says he now intends to publish the script as a book and then move on, though he did admit that he may change his mind at some point.
Tarantino's latest film, Django Unchained, which was also a Western, was his highest grossing to date earning 425 million US dollars worldwide and being nominated for 5 Academy Awards.
