BEIJING -- The 64th Berlin International Film Festival on Wednesday announced its complete lineup for the Competition series.

Twenty of the 23 films in the Competition program will be vying for the Golden Bear and Silver Bears, the Festival said in a statement.

The Competition program includes 18 world premieres and three feature debuts, with 19 participating countries, including Argentina, Japan, Brazil, Britain, France, Norway, Austria, Cyprus, China and the United States.

Germany offers the most films in the competition, as four German directors will show their productions at this year's Berlinale, including "Jack" by Edward Berger, "Stations of the Cross" by Dietrich Bruggemann, "Inbetween Worlds" by Feo Aladag and Dominik Graf with his "The Beloved Sisters."

China is also well represented with three films vying for prizes, including "Blind Massage" by Ye Lou, recent hit "No Man's Land" by Hao Ning and "Black Coal, Thin Ice" by Yinan Diao.

Two films come from France this year, with director Alain Resnais showing his "Life of Riley" and Rachid Bouchareb presenting his "Two Men in Town."

Meanwhile, two American films will also compete for the Golden Bear. US director Richard Linklater will take his new film "Boyhood" to Berlin, while Wes Anderson will bring his "The Grand Budapest Hotel."

The Award Ceremony will take place at the Berlinale Palast on Feb 15. The event will close with a screening of the winner of the Golden Bear.
