Wang Qingyi, top scorer in science in the national college entrance examination in Northwest China's Gansu province, felt sad when she saw her score in English was 134 out of 150.
"I decided to catch up with my other classmates who performed better than me step by step," said Wang, who found she ranked 27th among the 30 students in her class after entering high school.
In the 12th grade, Wang relied on a notebook to correct the errors she made in exercises and examinations. What's more important, Wang's notebook of error correction stressed more on classifying and summarizing the questions and problem solving methods.
