The unshakable religious sincerity of Tibetan Buddhism

Stupas are seen in the Ta'er Monastery at the southwest corner of Lusha'er town in Niezhong county, Qinghai province, on July 22, 2012. The Ta'er Temple, one of the six temples of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism, was the birthplace of Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Gelug Sect. The Ta'er Monastery is a group of fine buildings in a combination of both the Han and Tibetan styles of architecture on the mountain slopes. It is considered a sacred place in China.
