Prisoners shop online in jails

A prisoner shops online at Anhui Reformatory for Juvenile Delinquents on Monday in Hefei, capital of the province. According to the provincial prison administration, a new system was developed and installed in four of Anhui jails, enabling prisoners to shop online within the jails’intranet. The system is convenient for the prisoners and safe as it helps keep contraband out of the cells.The prisoners just need to use their all-in-one cards and order online using system terminals. Their goods are then delivered to them. The administration is considering wider usage of the system in all of its jails. [Photo/Xinhua]
