Langfang, Hebei province, will host the annual International Economic & Trade Fair from May 18 to 21, with a highlight of the fair being a conference on the integrated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei province.
More than 80 industry leaders will attend the meeting, including Lei Jun, founder and CEO of Xiaomi, a popular smartphone manufacturer in China, Qian Daqun, Chairman of IBM's China branch, and Cao Jianguo, general manager of China Aerospace Science & Industry Corp.
Six of the fair's 23 events will focus on the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei development.
New to this year's event is an exhibition showing 40 key platforms for Hebei to undertake in the transferal of industries from the capital and Tianjin.
The fair has been held annually since 1984.
