Changing China through my eyes

In fairness to China, they have done very well economically in recent decades, and are making huge leaps forward, and I'd go as far as saying they have caught up with the US in terms of economic and military strength. While the US has been struggling to recover in recent years, China has been powering ahead with huge economic growth. Kind of crazy, since 'Communism Doesn't Work!' For them I'd say it has worked pretty darn well. Yeah, they got problems, but is anyone here going to say that the US and other Western countries don't have problems?

Plus in the last couple of decades they have been getting better in terms of governance. There was once a time when no journalist could enter the country or report on anything happening there, then they were permitted, but only with a government official escorting them, now they're allowed to roam freely. So there has been progress overall, they just need to keep going further.

They're not there yet, and still need to go a lot further, but at least they're heading in the right direction, and as long as they're heading in the right direction, the rest of the world should encourage them to keep doing so.
