BEIJING - The official website of the top discipline agency of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Thursday released a list of the names of 51 leaders of discipline inspection teams.
Inspectors at major party and government organizations and state-owned enterprises is seen as an effective means of supervision and the move has attracted lots of public attention, said the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI).
In 2004, an outline jointly issued by the CCDI, the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, the State Commission Office for Public Sector Reform and the Ministry of Supervision (MOS) stipulated that the inspector teams are under the direct administration of the CCDI and the MOS.
