Medical equipment is unloaded from a Chinese ship-based helicopter, which landed on a playground at a remote island in the Maldives on July 2, 2013. It is the first time that the Chinese navy's medical helicopter was involved in a medical mission outside China. The helicopter concluded the mission the same day, diagnosing and treating more than 220 patients in Maldives. The mission started on July 1.[Photo/Xinhua] |
