QINGDAO - Chinese and Russian warships joined a drill Thursday morning in the Yellow Sea of the Pacific Ocean.
A total of 13 warships, four helicopters and two teams of special forces participated in the drill, focusing on marine escorts and anti-hijacking activities which involved no weapons. The drill lasted 67 minutes.
The naval exercise would also see live-fire operations as it was scheduled.
