China's inflation pressure in the period stretching from the fourth quarter to next year will likely not be too high, Ma Jiantang, director of the National Bureau of Statistics, said on Thursday at the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
However, he cautioned that this did not mean that the issue could be neglected.
The third round of quantitative easing by the United States Federal Reserve is also expected to have an impact on China’s domestic inflation, he added.
