Corruption a top concern of netizens

The fight against corruption, economic development and people’s livelihood, along with democracy and politics, are among the top 10 issues of concern to Chinese netizens, an online poll has found.
About 96,000 netizens had voted on the online forum of People’s Daily website by Wednesday afternoon. A third, or 32,000, of them said they pay their closest attention to “democracy and politics”.
The issue of an anti-graft campaign got 18,900 votes and people’s livelihoods received 18,300 votes, ranking them as the second and third topics people are most concerned about.
