Coal, energy expo to be held in Yulin

The Seventh International Coal, Energy and Chemical Industry Expo will be held from Sept 1 to 3 in Yulin, the northernmost city of the Shaanxi province.

With an exhibition space of 40,000 square meters, the expo is expected to draw more than 600 exhibitors and some 50,000 businessmen from China, Australia, Germany, New Zealand and the United States, the organizers said.

Known as China's Kuwait, Yulin is home to the Shenfu Coalfield, one of the world's largest coalfields.

The expo will comprise a coal technology and equipment show, investment and trade talks, and a forum on coal technology.

The event is a major exhibition in the country's coal and energy sector.
