Company manager leaps to his death

Li Fei, the manager of Zhejiang Chengxing Solar Technology Co in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, committed suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of his office building on Aug 3, local police said on Sunday.

The suicide came at a time when all major businesses in the industry are struggling amid a credit crisis and expecting a possible devastating blow from a European Union anti-dumping measure.

A insider at Chengxing Solar Technology, who wished to remain anonymous, told local newspapers that Li had suffered from hypochondria for a long time and his suicide has nothing to do with the company's situation.
