XINING - Three people were killed after a cargo train slammed into workers working the Qinghai-Tibet railway Thursday morning, local authorities said.
The accident happened around 9 a.m. at the Lianhu to Oulongshan section of the Qinghai-Tibet railway in northwest China's Qinghai province, according to the Qinghai-Tibet Railway Company.
The three victims were all construction workers of the railway company.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
