Graduates will have less stress finding a job in 2012, Beijing News reported Tuesday citing a survey.
Most graduates expect a monthly salary between 3,000 yuan ($475) and 5,000 yuan, according to a survey released on Monday by the Beijing Youth Stress Management Centre. 4,388 respondents took part in the survey.
The amount is 1,000 yuan to 3,000 yuan lower than expectations last year.
In addition, the expected monthly salary for junior college students is 2,890 yuan, undergraduates 3,480 yuan, postgraduates 4,840 yuan and doctors 7,160 yuan.
The report also revealed 55 percent of graduates chose to work in second-tier cities, while 14.4 percent selected first-tier cities, compared with 20% in 2011.
