 Large Medium  SmallBEIJING - Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao on Tuesday congratulated Dmitry Medvedev on becoming Russia's prime minister.
In his message, Wen spoke highly of the achievements made in the comprehensive relations of strategic coordination and partnership between China and Russia.
The relationship between the two countries has maintained good momentum, Wen said.
To push forward their comprehensive relationship of strategic coordination and partnership, Wen said he is ready to work with Medvedev to bring into full play the regular meeting mechanism between the premiers of the two countries and to expand pragmatic cooperation in every field in an all-round manner.
Russia's State Duma, the lower house of parliament, on Tuesday approved Medvedev as prime minister in the new government.
