Chinese President Hu Jintao and leaders of other Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states met in the Uzbek capital of Tashkent Friday to work out strategies to meet the security and economic challenges facing the region.
Chinese President Hu Jintao arrived here Wednesday for a state visit to Uzbekistan, where he will also attend a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
The session of the Foreign Ministers Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states was held in Tashkent on 22 May.
