The cauldron has been on the top of Bird's Nest for more than 900 days since the opening ceremony of the Games in August 2008, and it will be completely dismantled by the end of the year.

A fountain in the central part of Tiananmen Square has become the first to adopt new laser technology which can generate different images along a 10-meter high and 12-meter long water curtain.
