The 7th China Cross-Straits Technology and Projects Fair was held in Fuzhou, capital city of Fujian province, on June 18.
The fair displayed advanced technologies for agriculture, electronics, medical care and environmental protection as part of its goal to serve as a cross-Straits bridge for talent, technologies, projects and investment.
Since the first fair in 2002, the event has connected 35,000 displays of technology with the needs of 3,906 enterprises from home and abroad, facilitating 16,799 cooperation agreements with a total investment of 300 billion yuan.
The three-day fair attracted more than 400 colleges and research institutes, among which 90 were foreign, including the University of Oxford and the Russian Academy of Sciences.
