The first "luxury items authentication class" in China was launched on Aug 19.
During the 10-day course, students learn about features such as brand background, cultural elements, production process, signature style and price.
The first 10-day course was only the induction level. If a student wants to apply for a higher level class he or she will have to finish induction level and wait six months.
According to admissions officer Miss Dong, a student who has finished such a course can identify over 80 percent counterfeit luxury goods and give authentic goods a proper appraisal.
The 10 days course will cost 32,800 yuan ($5,348).
