The German Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai – one of the most important chamber of commerces in China - held a gala dinner at the Pudong Shangri-La on Thursday night to celebrate twenty years of the chamber's work to promote Sino-German cooperation in the city.
German and Chinese leaders from across business and politics attended the event, including Eric Schweitzer, President of the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Zhou Hanmin, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Shanghai Committee, and the Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Wolfgang Roehr.
