Online retailers have already begun setting up return schemes for consumers unhappy with their products.
Customers can now return goods bought online within seven days and no reason needs to be provided for the return.
China's consumer protection authorities have received nearly double the amount of online purchase complaints for the first half of this year compared to the last.
Enhanced consumer protection laws will come into full effect next March.
