Product quality and safety are always our top priorities. Following further tracing and recall efforts, we can confirm that use of the 25 kg of the affected Fonterra whey protein was limited to only one batch of Minute Maid Pineapple Pulpy Milky, produced on March 5, 2013, and shipped to only three provinces, i.e. batch #20130305 DGP6 produced between 06:50 to 17:50 on March 5, 2013 at our Dongguan plant, only distributed to three provinces: Yunnan (3273 cases), Guangxi (788 cases) and Guangdong (14967 cases).
These products are safe for consumption due to the ultra-high temperature (UHT) manufacturing process we use, and also the low acidity, which sanitizes the final products. In order to fully reassure consumers, we are cooperating with the government and actively recalling products from this single batch. We confirm again that all Coca-Cola products in China are safe for consumption.
Notice for consumers and customers in Yunnan, Guangxi and Guangdong with Pineapple Pulpy Milky produced on March 5, 2013:
