Large Medium SmallA new type of greenhouse with a solar power generated roof has been gaining popularity in Jimo, Shandong since last year. Local photovoltaic enterprises built the greenhouses in a bid to save land resources as well as create new jobs.
The city has 500 mu (33 hectares) of "solar power greenhouses" now.
