Sichuan paocai trade fair a hot spot for deals

Visitors look at paocai (Sichuan style pickles) products showcased at the 4th China Sichuan Paocai International Trade Fair held in Meishan, Southwest China's Sichuan province, on July 16. Contracts worth 631 million yuan ($99 million) were inked on Monday alone when the three-day event kicked off, according to Sina.com. Meishan is home to the 684,000 metric tons of paocai that were sold to more than 400 countries in the first half of the year.
